Assures that public health care services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible. Maintains awareness of advances in medicine/public health, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, government regulations, health insurance charges, and financing options. Oversees the planning, development, scheduling, and implementation of health care programs and activities. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of services and programs. Interviews, hires, directs, trains, evaluates the performance of, and when necessary, disciplines and discharges health care employees. Responsible for the development and administration of budgets. Develops long and short-term goals for the Division of Clinical Services and participates in the agency's strategic and operational planning. Develops policies and plans based on data collection, activity reports, planning documents, program plans and objectives. Plans and organizes program structure and policies to meet organizational and programmatic objectives Plans, organizes, and directs the work of the Division to provide continuous active treatment to the patients served. Sets priorities and implements goals and objectives to meet or resolve identified health problems and to ensure continuous quality improvement. Represents the District Health Director for clinical, programmatic, and administrative matters as required, in the event he/she is unavailable. Serves as a liaison between the Board of Health and the Department of Public Health by attending state, regional, and local meetings and participating on various committees and coalitions. Participates in Emergency Preparedness, Planning and Response as required by the agency. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who meet the following qualifications: Masters and Doctoral level nurses or nurse practitioners with experience in public health nursing. Applicants who possess professional experience with electronic medical record systems, quality improvement training and implementation. Five or more years of administrative and management experience (i.e. staff supervision, budget management and performance management) is preferred.   Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and seven (7) years of experience as Registered Nurse, four (4) years of which in an administrative or supervisory capacity and current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse; or eight (8) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (HCP073), three (3) years of which in an environment related to the area of assignment, eight (8) years of which as a supervisor and current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse and three (3) years of Public Health nursing experience.

Sees that the Food Service Director and Maintenance is notified of non-functioning equipment immediately. Bring all food supplies that are needed for the day up to the kitchen. Help with preparing or cooking for special events. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of refrigerator and freezer, making sure food is properly labeled and organized. Perform other tasks assigned by the Food Service Director.. Security: We have a full-time opening for a certified (20 hour training) security guard to work on our 31 acre campus (with some rounds off campus) for evening and overnight coverage. The schedule for this position will require some flex hours, this will be discussed during the interview process. Must have a valid PERC card. Security guard must have Driver's License - current and valid. Must have previous experience in the security field, we will only consider applicants with strong experience in security. Security guard must have a High School Diploma/GED. We offer great starting pay, full benefits and great work environment! Lifeguard: High School diploma required Ability and enthusiasm to create/implement aquatic programs for all residents Essential function is providing personal care assistance with residents before and or after pool usage Demonstrated leadership skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Certified American Red Cross Lifeguard and current CPR certification required. Ability to work well with others including those with developmental disabilities. Experience in adapted aquatics, preferred. Must have flexibility and reliability. Must be able to complete DSP training. Housekeeper: Shift is 6am-2pm must be available to work 3 weekends a month. Must be able to lift 40 pounds in weight. Previous housekeeping experience, minimum of 1 year, required. Must have a valid Driver's license  Weekends are required.  Must have the ability to complete work independently and with a team. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner. The housekeeper must be able to maintain Misericordia’s environmental standards. HSD/GED is  not  required.
