Job Responsibilities Deliver “exceptional” customer-service to both external and internal (co-workers) customers/potential customers. Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property, wall, or roof porosity and access to infested locations. Apply or dust chemical solutions, powders, or gases into rooms, clothing, furnishings, or wood, or over marshlands, ditches, or catch basins. Clean work site after completion. Technician is responsible for contacting clients; call ahead, rescheduling etc. Measure area dimensions requiring treatment, using rule, calculate fumigant requirements, and estimate cost for service pursuant to company guidelines. Cut or bore openings inbuilding or surrounding concrete, access infested areas, insert nozzle, and inject pesticide to impregnate ground. Study preliminary reports or diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation. Set mechanical traps or place poisonous paste or bait in sewers, burrows, or ditches. Adhere to industry laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules. Afore-mentioned adherence encompasses while operating company-issued vehicle. Properly operate any equipment and tools necessary to efficiently perform duties of this position: back-pack, computer, scheduler, cell-phone, etc. Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Service Manager.   Qualifications/Skills:   Individual must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be customer-centric. Exceptional verbal communication skills. Must be able to read, comprehend and follow label instructions. Possess excellent time management, active listening, and critical- thinking skills. Must have the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Able to work flexible hours. Must be capable of working in a team-setting and/or independent of others. Required to pass all pre-employment hiring requirements and acquire licensing necessary to perform job. Must always have a valid driver’s license.       Physical Requirements:   Frequent to constant standing/walking, stooping/bending, and carrying/climbing ladder up to 28 ft. tall. Repetitive use of upper extremities. Exposure to seasonal temperatures and weather conditions; low toxic fumes, dust, noise, pests, animals that may be on-premises. Must be able to work in natural and artificial lighting. Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must have the capability to wear the proper PPE, when necessary. Must have the ability to utilize all tools and equipment used in performing job duties, i.e.; screwdrivers, hammer, power tools, power auger, rod, hose-reel on the vehicle, shovel, drill.

Maintains a copy of the business unit Commercial Pest Control Service manual at close proximity at all times and follows the specified instructions therein. Maintains and services all route customers according to company standards and procedures. Calls the office daily as required for messages. Completes and submits daily service reports as required. Advises customers of potential problems. Keeps management informed of any problems encountered on service routes. Maintains proper inventory of pesticides in usage. Maintains service records in accordance with EPA standards. Collects delinquent accounts. Maintains service equipment and vehicle in clean and proper operating condition. Maintains a safe driving record. Assists on other routes as required by management. Completes federal, state, local and company required training programs within prescribed time limits for proper certification.   Job Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required 1-3 months related experience preferred Available to work flexible hours as required by customer needs, including evenings, nights, and/or weekends.
