Intake Patient Care Representative
The Intake Patient Care Representative is responsible for admitting new patients, verifying insurance information, and completing all applicable admissions paperwork. Completion of the accounts includes, but is not limited to checking prescription validity, authorization validity, insurance requirements, demographics, patient needs, and notation prior to shipping orders of medical supplies.
Essential Job Functions • Enter demographics and other pertinent information into the digital system and ensure completion of all admission paperwork • Verify insurance coverage, explain benefit information to patients and case managers, collect and process payments as applicable • Identify patients’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions • Answer incoming calls for intake patients as well as assist with overflow hunt groups as necessary • Meet daily, monthly, and quarterly metrics and goals set by management • Communicate effectively with other departments to present solutions to any patient concerns • Ensure work being performed meets internal and external compliance requirements • Maintain confidentiality of all information; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations • Various clerical work including faxing, scanning, and copying • Support the Aveanna mission and culture by demonstrating our core values; compassion, team integrity, accountability, trust, innovation compliance and fun. • Adhere to the Aveanna Compliance Program, including following all regulatory, Aveanna and accrediting agency policy requirements. • Maintain the skills and qualifications necessary to provide or support quality care, including attendance at company-wide educational programs. • Responsible for harmonious interactions with coworkers and customers, including patients, medical office staff, vendors and the general public. • Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Company’s policies and procedures.

Patient Support Representative
The Patient Support Representative handles inbound calls from our patients and their family members, providing information and responding to their inquiries with patience, empathy, and efficiency. The Patient Support Representative is responsible for accurate and detailed database entry based on complete information collected and updated on a regular basis.
Essential Job Functions
Handling inbound patient calls, providing effective information and solutions about products or services.
Ability to identify and analyze patients’ concerns and provide recommendations or solutions.
Responds to inquires in a thorough, timely and courteous manner.
Timely processing/facilitation; processes telephone orders by preparing patient paperwork.
Verifies insurance and/or other method of payment
Relay insurance coverage and patient responsibility to referral sources, sales team and patient.
Discuss patient responsibility and documentation required for billing of services.
Completes all necessary paperwork and data entry in an accurate and efficient manner to facilitate the accounts receivable and delivery of the order placed.
Coordinates the delivery and set-up of equipment, supplies and services with appropriate departments.
Ensures deliveries and set-ups can be arranged in a timely manner.
Accurately and clearly documents all activity in patient records maintaining privacy of information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable rules and regulations.
Resolves patient concerns by identifying problems and works with supervisor to coordinate appropriate corrective action.

Delivery Technician
The Delivery Technician transports patient supplies or render services to Aveanna Medical Solutions customers. This position works primarily in a warehouse setting pulling and staging orders, loading delivery vehicles, putting away new deliveries, and shipping out orders via FedEx.
Essential Job Functions
Operate delivery vehicle to deliver medical supplies and complete equipment pick-ups in an assigned geographical area daily to patient’s homes, hospital or place of business, as directed by supervisor
Instruct patients on proper pump usage, delivery schedule, patient bill of rights and HIPAA compliance
Act as a dispatch to delivery technicians on daily routes, off-cycle deliveries, and new patient set ups as needed
Prepare shipping materials in accordance with the FedEx shipping program
Responsible for overall pump maintenance including but not limited to pump cleaning, documentation and compliance inspections
Pull and load equipment and supplies for daily routes
Complete all reports, logs and paperwork as directed
Assist with patient concern resolution
General warehousing duties, including but not limited to stocking shelves, cleaning warehouse, and driving forklift to pull stock off racks
Take on-call duties when scheduled, answering phones professionally, taking messages and resolving issues as necessary
