As a Wine & Spirits Sales Representative (Sales Rep) inside a partner distributor, you will independently manage a territory of pre-established accounts, building relationships through face-to-face interactions with your customers, as well as promoting a vast portfolio of wine and spirits including brands such as Apothic, Barefoot, New Amsterdam Vodka, etc. Ultimately, your responsibility will be to maximize Gallo’s exposure to the shopper through impactful placements in your accounts. Through extensive sales training and on-the-job experience, you will learn to be a successful, consultative salesperson.
What You Will Do
Call on pre-established grocery and drug chain accounts, like Publix, Kroger, and Walgreens
Be the master of your own schedule, prioritizing time spent visiting accounts in order to meet and exceed monthly sales goals
Build and enhance relationships with decision-makers through consistency, reliability, and leveraging fact-based data, with the goal of gaining incremental sales
Create customized sales presentations to inform and persuade decision-makers on the benefits of doing business with Gallo
Identify opportunities and locations to cross-merchandise in your accounts outside of the liquor department, displaying Gallo products in an impactful way
Creatively merchandise Gallo products to stimulate impulse purchases using eye-catching display pieces (wine barrels, etc.)
Gallo and Constellation remain separate and independent firms until closing.
