GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Carlo’s Bakery is looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join the Marketing Team at our headquarters in Jersey City, NJ. The position will work to produce and maintain the visual aesthetic on an eCommerce and retail level under the Carlo’s Bakery’s brand.

Qualifications:

- BA/BFA in Graphic Design or related field

- 2+ years of work experience in graphic design

- Experience with brand packaging or CPG packaging A PLUS!

- Ability and willingness to work quickly and focused on delivering a high-quality

deliverable

- Strong visual style and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color,

images, and interactivity can impact conversion

- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite / InDesign

- Deep understanding of social media and emerging social trends

- Excellent communication, organizational, verbal, and written skills

- Team player with an all-hands-on-deck attitude and an entrepreneurial mind-set

Responsibilities:

- Create highly engaging and on-brand designs for packaging, email, social, onsite

content, and other channels that deliver on our business strategy and mission.

- Translate editorial, business requirements, and media asks, into designs that are on-

brand, visually impactful, and encourage conversion.

- Hands-on production and organizing of visual projects from start to publish

- Plan, design, and produce graphics for omnichannel promotion of eCommerce content

- Produce clean, functional designs for packaging, websites, social media, email, and

other digital outlets
