SUMMARY
The Corporate Philanthropy Specialist drives revenue by developing and managing strategic alliances at a local and regional level in order to maximize fundraising initiatives to support Opportunity Village’s events and programs.
The role is an integral position at Opportunity Village serving to support the annual fundraising target goals and connect new donors to the OV mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Researches sponsorship opportunities, creates proposals, and delivers presentations to identify and attract sponsorships and drive revenue.
Develops and maintains corporate relationships through sponsorships, and oversees all facets of fulfillment for sponsorships.
Partners with Events, Marketing and Community Engagement teams to identify opportunities to maximize the revenue potential of key community leaders and corporate sponsors.
Responsible for the development of long-term sponsorship/revenue growth strategies for the Magical Forest.
Expand sponsorships for all OV fundraising events, including but not limited to HallOVeen, Magical Forest, Camelot, Great Santa Run, Fashion Show and Easter Egg Hunt
Ensure that stewardship and reporting requirements are met to sustain successful partnerships.
Account for annual revenue objectives.
Work collaboratively with and in support of other resource development staff, and other OV representatives to garner donors for the organizations priorities
Establish and foster relations with internal partners, external resources, sponsors, suppliers, distributors, industry organizations and service providers using effective negotiation, communication and relationship building skills to explore business opportunities and improve financial performance.
Through mail, telephone and personal visits, confirm annual sponsors, steward large sponsors, and identify new prospects which include attendees, sponsors, and in-kind contributors.
Identify and participate in special networking events to develop new relationships and raise awareness of Opportunity Village and our mission.
Support the comprehensive fundraising campaigns to also include; endowment, events, legacy giving, the capital campaign and other fundraising related tasks as needed.
Use Donor Perfect software to track, engage and report on all prospects with weekly outreach and solicitation goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Some travel to a variety of locations in the Las Vegas area.
Required: Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Fundraising and/or business development professional.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BS or Higher: Business Development, Fundraising, Nonprofit Administration or related field or equivalent.
Experience working with high-level decision makers, trustees, and other stakeholders.
Preferred: Experience with Donor Perfect or other donor database software.
Preferred: Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Knowledge of local market a plus
